From Tuesday 27 until Thursday 29 August 2019, twenty one Year 10 students along with Mr John Braid, Mr Robbie Tuck, Mr Daniel Blake, Mr Mark Oates and Mr John Tulk (a visiting Pre-Service Teacher) undertook a 3-day snow camping experience at Mount Field National Park.
On Wednesday 4 September 2019 we had the rare opportunity to gather as an entire school for our annual House Spirit – Tug of War event ‘The Endeavour Cup’.
On Friday 30 August 2019 we were very fortunate to have the R U OK? Day Trust the Signs Tour visit The Hutchins School.
On Friday 30 August 2019 members of The Hutchins Senior School community joined together to make a difference for our 2019 chosen charity, The Smith Family, by Freezin’ for a Reason at Nutgrove Beach.
Magenta & Blacker was conceived five years ago when members of the Visual and Performing Arts Faculty spent time in Adelaide for the annual Fringe Festival.
Well done to Buckland House on their fundraising efforts in support of the Leukaemia Foundation!
The 1846 Scholarship is funded by generous community support of The Hutchins School 24 Hour Giving Day.
At the Anniversary Lunch held in Burbury House on Friday 9 August 2019, the Hutchins School Old Boys’ Association unveiled the Hutchins Lion which is a posthumous award given to honour an Old Boy who has excelled in his chosen field of endeavour.
The Anniversary Lunch held on Friday 9 August 2019 included the presentation of The Hutchins Foundation Follow Your Dreams Awards.
