On Saturday 25 April 2020, Anzac Day was celebrated much differently with no community gatherings permitted. Our community managed to find new ways to pay their respect to those who have served our nation, with many up at dawn to participate in a virtual dawn service and hear the sound of the last post echoed through the suburbs.
The Hutchins School Old Boys’ Association (HSOBA) was officially founded at a meeting on 3 August 1892. It cultivates life-long fellowship between those who have passed through the School and keeps Old Boys engaged with our school community. The HSOBA is responsible for building a strong alumni community in Tasmania and around the world through organising reunions, events and activities for Hutchins Old Boys.
Stay connected! It is time to reconnect with old friends, keep in touch with what’s happening at Hutchins, and book yourself in to attend some of our fantastic events. Join our Facebook page and become a member of our Old Boys Community Hub to keep in touch with the Association and fellow alumni. We love to celebrate the achievements of our Old Boys so keep us informed and send in any news you have.
