Students from Years 7 to 12 have the opportunity to compete for the School in debating through the competition run from March to October by the Tasmanian Debating Union. Students are organised into teams according to year groups and assigned a coach. Debates are held once a week, in the evening at a variety of schools.

Junior School students can participate in debating through the interschool competition.

As a result of our high performance ISP bandwidth, we now have the capacity through videoconferencing to debate with schools around the world.
