Hutchins Battle of Britain hero honoured

The only Tasmanian to appear on the Battle of Britain Honour Roll has been recognised by the Battle of Britain Historical Society and the Hutchins School with the unveiling of a new plaque at the School.

SSATIS Cross Country success

Charles Haward, Henry West (Captains of Cross Country) and Under 15 age group winner Ben Robinson.

The Hutchins School Cross Country Team competed in the SSATIS Cross Country at Pontville on Tuesday 2 August. A large team of students from Years 7–12 competed admirably in fantastic race conditions.

Student artwork shines at John Bednall Centre

Glittering Shores by Harrison Paine

The work of Year 9 student, Harrison Paine has recently been installed in the John Bednall Centre for Learning Support. Harrison constructed a glass mosaic out of the 37 kilograms of glass fragments he collected along the Derwent River foreshore and mounted it on glass mirrors.
