On Tuesday the Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten boys invited their Collegiate friends to join them at our school for a special Teddy Bears’ Picnic.
On Tuesday our Junior String Orchestra performed in the Hobart Eisteddfod at the Federation Concert Hall and were awarded winners of the “Year 6 & Under Instrumental or Orchestral Group”.
Recently, The Hutchins School Sailing Academy launched a new initiative to promote sailing in the Junior School.
Last night we acknowledged the contribution of staff members who have given over 15 and 20 years of service to the School.
The “Looking to the Future” Careers expo was held on Tuesday 5 June 2018 at The Hutchins School. Despite the cold weather, we welcomed nearly 500 people, with 45 exhibitors present.

A big congratulations to Michael Vale who took out the $20,000 first prize in the Hutchins Australian Contemporary Art Prize with his painting The Great Divide.
Congratulations to the 43 Middle School boys who represented Hutchins either playing AFL, Basketball or Soccer in Melbourne last Friday and Saturday.
