Hutchins Rugby took an U16 and an U18 team to Melbourne to participate in the Victorian Schools Sevens Competition at Xavier College in the holidays.

The School will be open tomorrow, Monday 14 May 2018, however the phone system will not be available due to damage at UTAS. Telstra are currently working to resolve the problem.

As a result of severe weather conditions, a number of areas around the school have been deemed unsafe for our students and staff therefore the School will be closed today.
China trip 2018
From the 5th to 23rd April 2018, seventeen Year 10/11 students and three staff members visited China on our biennial language and culture immersion tour.
ANZAC Day Service 2018

Headmaster Seminar Series – Paul Dillon
Last Wednesday Paul Dillon made his annual visit to Hutchins to address our Year 10, 11 and 12 students. Paul has been working in the area of drug education for the past 25 years.

Year 2 Leaders
All Year 2 students have the opportunity to be a leader in the ELC. Throughout the year, boys will take on the responsibility and rotate through the following leadership roles: Playground Leaders, Charity Leaders, and Sustainability/Green Team Leaders.
Dance United
The Hutchins School Senior Dance Troupe competed in the Regional heats for Dance Life Unite on the weekend and were successful in qualifying for Nationals after winning both their Lyrical and Musical Theatre Sections.
