The Hutchins School says ‘No way’ to bullying

Middle and Senior School boys sending their message of ‘No way’

As part of our school’s stand against bullying, we registered as an official National Day of Action school where schools across Australia stand united against this important societal issue. To mark this national event, boys from the Middle School and Senior School came together today to make a visual ‘stand against bullying’ by forming the words “No way” on the Senior School oval.

This comes after boys in Year 8 produced an anti-bullying video, School Captain, Fergus Charles addressed boys in the Middle and Senior School about this year’s theme of courage – Have the courage to do what is right. Fergus told us, “It takes courage to recognise that we need help and to reach out to others but it also takes courage to help others, to be compassionate and to be kind.”
