Year 12 Valedictory Service, Guard of Honour and Leavers Lunch
On Friday 27 November our Leavers of 2020 culminated their time at Hutchins with a day of celebration starting with Morning Tea in the Nettlefold Library where Mrs Judy Smith shared some memories from teaching the boys during their early years. Year 12 were then joined by their families for their final Chapel Service on the War Memorial Oval where Year 2 boys sang ‘Till We Meet Again’. Families then made their way through the ‘Guard of Honour’ into the Senior School Quad where families enjoyed the Leavers Lunch. The Young Alumni Award for 2020 was also awarded to Cam Raw (’06) and accepted on his behalf by his mother, Gail Ward.
Thank you to all volunteers from the Hutchins School Old Boys’ Association for their assistance with cooking the BBQ. Thank you to all staff involved in what was a great celebration for the Leavers of 2020.
