School of Rock musical performance 2022
Four shows in three days and a production that rivals a professional theatre company!
School of Rock quite literally rocked the Theatre Royal! Each student involved, from both The Hutchins School and St Michael's Collegiate School performed with tremendous talent in drama, dance, music and voice.
The Years 6–12 cast played their instruments on stage as they back flipped, danced on tables and astounded the audience with their incredible vocal range!
What a production Mrs Michelle Weeding, Mrs Jacquie Coad, Mikaela Campbell, Jessie Phillips-Lee and their extremely dynamic team have produced. You should be incredibly proud of what you have achieved, we certainly are!
We must make mention of Fergus McLean (Year 11) who completely embodied Dewey Finn's character with every ounce of his body. It was such a star performance!
The production would not have been complete without the amazing students and staff back stage, in the orchestra pit and behind the desk in lighting and sound. A tremendous team effort by all!
