Three Hutchins Boys, Sam Heron, Tobias Tenbensel and Nick Edwards were invited to the national selection camp for the Australian Squad to compete at the World Junior Championships.

On Friday 6 May we had a Science morning in conjunction with Collegiate. Our Year 7 boys travelled to Collegiate to be hosted by their Year 7 girls and our Year 8 boys remained in our Middle School to welcome the Year 8 Collegiate girls.

The 2011 school rowing season ended on Sunday with the finals of the Schools Rowing Championships. Hutchins retained both the Junior and Overall Boys' Composite Trophies by significant margins.
Our school crews performed outstandingly at this year's prestigious Head of The River Event at Lake Barrington, with our first VIII claiming the prized title.
