Year 8 students Callum Parssey and Dashan Forrest

Congratulations to our students who received the following awards for their investigations at the UTAS Science Investigation Awards last Thursday evening:

Best Physical Sciences Project Years 7 & 8 and Honourable Mention Year 8

Year 8 students Callum Parssey (Year 8) and Dashan Forrest (Year 8) – Improving the efficiency of the Hodson DC Motor

Runner-up Environmental and Marine Science Years 7 & 8

Year 7 students Oliver Hugo, Jesse Wright-Burbury and Sam Fenney – Mycoremediation: fungi as decomposers of paper.

William Mather and Ewan Sloan – Do Storm Water Drains Influence the Amount of Plastics in Wild Mussels?
