Athletics success!
To carry on from a clean sweep of trophies in the Southern SATIS, our athletics team had an outstanding day today at the State SATIS Carnival on Saturday, bringing home the Junior Shield and Aggregate Trophy!
There were plenty of outstanding performances in challenging conditions, with a special mention to Jagga Pybus (Year 10) who broke the U16 100m hurdles record!
Thanks to all of our Year 12 boys for their years of service to the athletics team and well done to all of the boys that represented the school this season. All of the hard work and dedication to training has paid off.
A huge thank you to our Teacher in Charge Mr Roger McNamara for all of his organisation of the team and staff support from Mr Mike Conacher, Mr Travis Little and Mr Jason Berry.
Our boys were very lucky to receive excellent coaching this season from Huw Peacock, Hamish Peacock, Abbie Rothery, Nick Graver, Wayne Mason and Brandon Clark.
