JSSATIS Athletics Carnival
On Thursday 15 November some of our Junior School boys participated in the annual JSSATIS Athletics Carnival. In damp and trying conditions, our boys performed admirably on and off the track. It was mentioned by many schools how our boys congratulated others competitors after each event and the manner in which they competed.
Some highlights of the day included the Year 5 boys (pictured) who won every division of the Year 5 100m races, Sam Essex (Year 6) and Charlie Boman’s (Year 6) 1500m and 800m races, and of course, the various relays.
A big thank you to staff and Mr. Troy Bennett (’86) who assisted our boys on the day.
