Appointment of Deputy Principal and Head of Senior School
I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Ken Kingston as the role of Deputy Principal and Head of Senior School at The Hutchins School. Mr Kingston brings 30 years of educational experience to the role, including nine years as the inaugural Power of 9 Coordinator, five years as the Head of Middle School at Hutchins and in his early career, as an educational psychologist.
The panel, led by education recruitment company, ANZUK, considered many very strong applications from across Australia. Mr Kingston’s understanding of the needs and experiences of young people, together with his wise, measured, and compassionate approach to leadership make him the right leader for our community at this time.
On behalf of The Hutchins School community, I congratulate Mr Kingston on his appointment and look forward to his calm, innovative and caring leadership of the students, staff and families in our community. Mr Kingston will commence in the role immediately.
