2020 Celebrations – Years 3 to 10
This year our Community Relations team worked tirelessly to deliver COVID-19 safe events across the whole school to celebrate the year that was 2020. Our usual Speech Night format had to be split into multiple events to comply with restrictions with a mixture of live and pre-recorded performances.
Years 3 and 4 Celebration
Our Years 3 and 4 Celebration was held on Tuesday 1 December and was a wonderful night of entertainment, with a mixture of video and live performances for staff and family members. Well done to all Year 3 and 4 prize winners and performers on their achievements this year, and thank you to all staff for making this a great event to celebrate the end of 2020. Years 5 and 6 Celebration
The Years 5 and 6 Celebration was held on Thursday 3 December in the Terence Butler Auditorium where families, students and staff celebrated the achievements of our students in 2020. Various forms of entertainment included both dance and music videos, a live Year 6 performance with some special staff guest performers, a Year 5 poem and a massed Year 5/6 Choir performing ‘We are the World’ for the finale. Years 7–10 Awards Presentation
The Hutchins Years 7–10 Awards Presentation was held on Monday 30 November in the Terence Butler Auditorium where prize winners and 2021 scholars were joined by staff and their parents/carers. Congratulations to all students who were awarded co-curricular or academic prizes and scholarships, and thank you to all staff for making this event possible.
