Year 12 Run-a-thon 2023
Congratulations to our Year 12s on completing their Run-a-thon in support of S.H.E Gynaecological Cancer Group. The cohort ran an incredible 3541 laps (or 1416km) of the War Memorial Oval over 12 hours, through the night and in wintry conditions.
Special mention to the following students who each, individually, ran a marathon distance of 42.19km; Jonty Coad, Hamish Ottaway, Alexander Eyre, Henry Jones, Charles Fish, Fergus McLean, Sheng-Yuan Lynch and Cohen Ratcliffe – well done!
The Run-a-thon was the final Year 12 fundraising event for S.H.E and the total amount raised for the charity will be announced at the final Principal’s Assembly next term.
