Year 12 celebrations and Co-Curricular Awards Assembly
On Friday 29 November our Leavers of 2019 culminated their time at Hutchins with a day of celebration starting with Morning Tea in the Staff room where Mrs Judy Smith shared some memories from teaching the boys during their early years.
Year 12 were then joined by their families for their final Chapel Service where Year 2 boys sang ‘Till We Meet Again’. Families then made their way through the ‘Guard of Honour’ into the Senior School Co-Curricular Assembly where many prizes were awarded. Mr Mike Conacher, Mr Stuart Brinsmead and Mr Matt Sayers performed Powderfinger’s ‘Sail The Widest Stretch’ while a photo montage of memories from the Leavers’ School Days was shown. Jordan McCreary (’09) then addressed boys and their families about taking all of the opportunities on offer at Hutchins and how this prepared him for his life outside of school.
