The Hutchins School 177th Anniversary
3 August 2023 marks the 177th Anniversary of The Hutchins School. To celebrate, our Middle and Senior Students gathered in the Senior School Quad and enjoyed a BBQ lunch catered by each of the Houses. The atmosphere was fun and everyone joined in a spirited rendition of ‘Happy Birthday’ followed by the cutting of a stunning birthday cake, a replica of the original school building at 181 Macquarie Street, Hobart.
While enjoying slices of chocolate cake, both students and staff cheered on a touch football match between the students and Old Boys. It has been a great day here at Hutchins!
