Southern Tasmanian Dancing Eisteddfod
On the last day of Term 2 The Hutchins School Dance Troupes performed in the Southern Tasmanian Dancing Eisteddfod at Wrest Point. It was an outstanding display of talent from across the age sections and our students and staff should be incredibly proud of their efforts. We hope you enjoy this highlights video of their routines!
In the Junior School section, the Year 4 Troupe were awarded with 2nd place, the Year 3 and Year 6 Troupes were awarded Highly Commended and the ELC Troupe’s performance were awarded a Special Mention. In the Secondary School section, our Middle School Troupe took home 2nd place and in the Secondary School College section our Senior Troupe were also awarded 2nd place.
It was a huge team effort with almost 150 Hutchins dancers on stage and ultimately very rewarding for all involved. A fantastic way to finish the term.
