R U OK? Trust the Signs Tour
On Friday 30 August 2019 we were very fortunate to have the R U OK? Day Trust the Signs Tour visit The Hutchins School.
It was a wonderful educational experience for boys from Years 7–12, learning how to look out for and actively support friends, family and colleagues in need.
The boys heard from Katherine Newton (CEO of R U OK?) and Mitch McPherson (SPEAK UP Stay ChatTY) before having time to explore the interactive installations and enjoy lunch time entertainment from the staff and student bands. George Scott (Year 12 Prefect) and Angus McMaster (Year 12 Mental Health Contact Officer) then took the time to interview Katherine for a soon to be released Hutchins Podcast.
