Outstanding achievements in the ICAS Mathematics Competition

ICAS Mathematics Competition medal winners: Shenghong Zhu (Year 10), Axel Moore (Year 10) – absent, Angus Christie (Year 9), Malcom Ward (Year 11), Koh Kawaguchi (Year 12), Declan Ee (Year 7), William Rumley (Year 6).

Many students around Australia and New Zealand from Years 4 to 12 took part in August’s ICAS Mathematics competition. We congratulate the following students (pictured) on receiving medals for their outstanding achievement in the competition: Shenghong Zhu (Year 10), Axel Moore (Year 10), Angus Christie (Year 9), Malcom Ward (Year 11), Koh Kawaguchi (Year 12), Declan Ee (Year 7), William Rumley (Year 6). These students achieved the highest score in the state for their year level which is very impressive!

Several Hutchins Students ranked within the top 1% of all candidates and received a certificate of High Distinction: Declan Ee, Samuel Roberts (Year 7), Seth Homfray (Year 8), Angus Christie, Mark Elkerton (Year 9), Axel Moore and Shenghong Zhu.
