House Cross Country and Wellbeing Day 2020

Walter Fish (Year 2) participating from his family farm in Jericho.

Congratulations to all students and families who participated in our House Cross Country and Wellbeing Day, the results were extraordinary! It was great to see so many Hutchins House colours all around Tasmania getting active and showing House spirit. Congratulations to Stephens House for winning the first ever Pre-Kindergarten to Year 4 ‘One Tree Hill Challenge’, travelling an amazing 367km (Sandy Bay to Boat Harbour) and completing some exciting Outdoor Education challenges. For our Years 5–12 students, congratulations needs to go to winners, School House, who travelled 1,777km (Sandy Bay to Newcastle) as well as having 150 members of their House participate in an online F45 session. Interestingly, the other three Houses were separated by less than 40km. Well done, a fantastic effort by all involved!

Thank you also to our Sport and Outdoor Education staff for organising such a fantastic day for our boys. Watch the House Cross Country and Wellbeing Day video below or on Vimeo.
