Early Learning Centre Grandparents’ Day 2021

Prep performing ‘Cotton-Eyed Joe’

Yesterday we welcomed over 200 Grandparents and family members for the Early Learning Centre Grandparents’ Day. Grandparents were treated to some very entertaining performances including Kindergarten’s scarf dance to the ‘Hungarian Dance No. 5’, Year 1 showing their art work portraits of their Grandparents and telling us why they are special, Prep dancing to ‘Cotton-Eyed Joe’ and Year 2 singing ‘Zum Gali Gali’, not to mention some great hosting from Year 2 students William Stewart and Liam Heath. Guests then enjoyed a morning tea in the Auditorium and visited class rooms in the ELC where the boys took great pride in showing them what they have been learning.

Thank you to all Grandparents and family members who attended this special day for our ELC boys. Thank you also to the Community Relations team, Parents’ Association Volunteers, Junior School and ELC teachers, Visual and Performing Arts/Music staff and Gap Students for their organisation of Grandparents’ Day.
