ANZAC Tour 2014 – France and Belgium

Tyne Cot Commonwealth War Graves Cemetery, Belgium.

These past holidays a group of students from Hutchins and Collegiate represented Tasmania and Australia on a tour of France and Belgium. Two years in the making, the trip saw these 33 students come together to form a choir – their main commitment was to provide music for the Dawn Service at the Australian National War Memorial, Villers-Bretonneaux, France.

While in France and Belgium the students combined sightseeing, singing, touring the battlefields of World War One and performing several concerts.

Thank you to the students and their families for their commitment to this tour. Most importantly a big thank you to our Collegiate colleagues Anne Morgan and Jenny Jones for their expertise, professionalism, camaraderie and ability to navigate the Métro.
