The Hutchins School, established in 1846, is an Anglican Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 day and boarding school with an enrolment of over 1,000 boys. The Hutchins School seeks to provide an inspirational education where each boy strives to achieve his personal best.
The School seeks to appoint a highly motivated and values-driven full time Human Resources Co-ordinator to join our team in Sandy Bay.
The Human Resources (HR) Co-ordinator is responsible for the operational and day-to-day generalist human resources and employee relations (ER) functions in a pro-active, service oriented and hands-on manner. This is a key role that contributes to the people and culture strategies including implementation of the People, Culture and Safety Plan, and the provision of HR and ER services and support.
Reporting to the People, Culture and Safety Manager, you will assist to co-ordinate and administer the HR portfolio including but not limited to: employment relations; recruitment; and onboarding, in accordance with organisational policies and statutory requirements.

It is a strict requirement of our school that all staff obtain and maintain a Tasmania's Department of Justice Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) evidence of which must be provided prior to commencement.
All staff are required to support the School’s Christian education programs according to the practices of the Anglican Church of Australia.
