The Hutchins Foundation presents Follow Your Dreams Awards

Back row L–R Lachlan Chambers, Adam Nyhuis, Caleb Oakes and Samuel King. Front row L–R Harvey Chilcott, Isaac Sargent and Thomas Young.

The Anniversary Lunch held today was a wonderful celebration supported by The Hutchins Foundation and the Hutchins School Old Boys Association. It included the presentation of The Hutchins Foundation Follow Your Dreams Awards. The awards are an opportunity for students to apply for financial support from The Hutchins Foundation to assist them in achieving and pursuing their dreams and goals. Over the years funding has been provided for purchasing sports equipment, money to assist in the cost of travel to compete interstate or internationally and funds to support further study in various academic pursuits.

Entries are as diverse as the boys who attend Hutchins, with this year’s successful applicants receiving funding in the areas of music, sport, filmmaking and design.

The Awards are a unique opportunity for boys to independently apply for financial assistance and actively taking part in an application and interview process. The Hutchins Foundation is proud to support the Follow Your Dreams Awards.

Congratulations to the following students who were presented with Follow Your Dream awards today:

  • Samuel King – Sailing
  • Caleb Oakes – Woodwork and Design
  • Harvey Chilcott – Athletics
  • Lachlan Chambers – Music
  • Thomas Young – Music
  • Isaac Sargent – Filmmaking
  • Adam Nyhuis – Design and Business
