Student artwork shines at John Bednall Centre

Glittering Shores by Harrison Paine

The work of Year 9 student, Harrison Paine has recently been installed in the John Bednall Centre for Learning Support. Harrison constructed a glass mosaic out of the 37 kilograms of glass fragments he collected along the Derwent River foreshore and mounted it on glass mirrors.

The work, entitled "Glittering Shores", and depicting the Derwent Estuary, was the culmination of the Power of 9 subject, The Project.
