Dancing Success at Hobart Eisteddfod
Dance at Hutchins is continuing to go from strength to strength, with about 30 Hutchins boys competing in the the recent Southern Tasmanian Dancing Eisteddfods.
Students entered in solo sections for the first time, as well as competing in group events.
Hutchins was once again the only school to present all male groups.
Our successes included:
11yrs and Under Jazz Group – 3rd place
18yrs and under Song and Dance group – 3rd place
18yrs and under Jazz group – 2nd place
17 yrs and under solo jazz – Highly commended – Frank Burridge, James Wheller
17yrs and under song and dance solo 3rd place Thomas Tsiakis.
