Watoto Children’s Choir visit
The Watoto Children’s Choir is a group of African children choirs based in Kampala, Uganda, at Watoto Church. Each choir is composed of approximately 22 children from Uganda. The choir is made up of children who have lost one or both parents. They travel the world as ambassadors of hope for Africa’s orphaned and vulnerable.
The choir visited the School today, the children sang, danced and shared their stories with the Hutchins community. It was truly inspiring! They have visited Hutchins previously, most recently in 2013. Six Hutchins students’ families and three staff families enjoyed hosting the children in their homes on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
