Year 10 Science students, Thomas Baddiley, Thomas Young, Timothy Lindsay and Angus Szoke recently attended the ISSC, hosted by Sella Matutina Girls High School in Taichung, Taiwan.

Thomas Baddiley and  Angus Szoke presented their own research to delegates from other countries and participated in a range of scientific experiences at local universities and businesses with this year’s focus of the conference being “Science and Sustainability″.

The boys did a great job in presenting their research. Thomas Baddiley spoke about his experiment studying how house hold plants can reduce carbon dioxide levels at home and Angus Szoke presented his study on how essential oils may inhibit bacterial growth. All the boys proudly represented the School, they made many new connections and friendships from different cultures.
