Hutchins community urged to donate blood
The Hutchins School Chaplain Reverend Canon Matt Gray is urging members of The Hutchins School community to donate blood during National Blood Donation Week.
The Hutchins School has taken part in the Red Cross Winter Blood Challenge for the past seven years and we are proud to have been the state winners of the challenge for the last five years in a row.
“I urge all members of our School community who are able to give blood to do so.” Rev. Matt said.
“Millions of Australians rely on blood donations every day, and the Red Cross does increadible work in trying to meet the needs of the community. However, more help is needed.”
“It only takes an hour of your time, and you could be helping to save someone’s life.”
For more information or to arrange a time to donate, please contact the Blood Service on 13 14 95 or sign up online at www.redcross.org.au/blood-service.aspx. Remember to tell them you are from Hutchins!
