EXHIBITION - Tuesday 8 September - Sunday 20 September in the Salamanca Long Gallery
The Long Gallery will be open from 10.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and 10.00am - 2.00pm on Sundays.

Headmaster, Mr Warwick Dean and Her Excellency Professor the Honourable Kate Warner AM, Governor of Tasmania will jointly open the Hutchins Art Prize at the Gala Opening in the Long Gallery on Monday 7 September. Her Excellency will also present the awards on the night.

The Hutchins Art Prize has been held since 1997, annually until 2005 and since, biennially. The 2015 award, worth $20,000 to the winner, will be the 14th time we have staged this nationally respected competition. The School runs one of the most significant works on paper prizes in the country in order to demonstrate our commitment to excellence in the visual arts. Our award attracts entries from both established artists and exciting new talent providing a wonderful opportunity for art lovers to purchase pieces by highly collectable artists who rarely show works in Tasmania.
